Emily Bugg, Owner

Emily Bugg is the owner of BUGG TREE CARE. She has over six years experience owning and managing BUGG TREE CARE, but her first business experience came at age 10 with a very successful lemonade stand.  Emily is a Madison native who grew up climbing and enjoying the trees and parks of her beautiful hometown. She is inspired by her children to preserve and protect the urban canopy as they learn and grow and have begun to climb trees of their own. You are more likely to find Emily on the phone than in a tree.  She is devoted to growing the business and developing new community connections.

Seth Steinhaur, Arborist

Seth Steinhauer is a ISA Certified Arborist and holds a B.A. in communication from UW-Stevens Point. He is an experienced climber and sales arborist with over six years in the green industry. Seth has also worked on restoration of Wisconsin native prairie and woodland, urban wood milling, growing shiitake mushrooms to utilize urban trees and as a woodworking teacher at the Madison Waldorf School. He is passionate about all things outdoors, particularly being on the water (Wisconsin River is his favorite) and fly fishing. He is also our resident Rope-Swing expert.

ISA Certification: WI-1471-A
